Abu Dhabi: South Africa won the 1st ODI against Pakistan by 8 wickets. Two batsmen of South Africa injured. Pakistan openers played very well but the middle order batsmen failed again.

Toss: Pakistan won the toss & elected to bat.

Pakistan Innings:

Pakistan made three changes, Imran Farhat, Shahzaib Hassan & Umar Akmal were omitted from the squad, Asad Shafiq, Younis Khan & Fawad Alam were in the team.

Asad Shafiq & Mohammad Hafeez were the openers. They tried their best to provide the best start. But in the 8th over, Asad Shfiq got out at the short pitched ball of Tsotsobe. At that time the score was 26.

Then Younis Khan was sent by the team management & he played awesome. Mohammad Hafeez & Younis Khan made a 100 runs partnership. South African bowlers were frustrating.

In the 31th over, Mohammad Hafeez got out after scoring 68 runs of 84 balls wth 7 fours. At that time the score of Pakistan was 140/2.

After 3 overs, Younis Khan left the new batsman Misbah-ul-Haq at the crease. He scored 54 runs of 75 balls with 2 fours.

Then suddenly the situation of the match changed. All batsmen went back to pavilion after adding just 46 runs. This shocked everyone. Captain of Pakistan Boom Boom also failed to play a big innings.

In the end, the score of Pakistan was 203/10 in 49.0 overs.

Jacques Kallis was sent to complete the innings. Amla & Kallis played really great. At last Ajmal succeeded in taking the wicket of Hashim Amla. He scored 35 runs of 29 balls with 3 fours & 1 six. The score of South Africa was 70/1 in 12.4 overs.

AB de Villiers played well but again Saeed Ajmal’s strike forced him to leave the crease. He scored 51 runs of 52 balls with 6 fours. At that time the score of South Africa was 147/2 in 28.3 overs.

At the score of 188, Kallis injured himself by playing a short pitched ball of Umar Gull. He was shrieking at that time with pain. Something went wrong with his legs & thighs. He was unable to walk so he went back on the drink car. He scored 66 runs of 88 balls with 5 fours & 1 six.

Once again Duminy & Ingram completed the innings for South Africa. South Africa scored 207/2 in 39.3 overs.

World – This month of October was indeed a great month after the fixing accusations. The ICC suspended Pakistan trio for playing any kind of cricket but Raina’s entry in this case changed the course of the game.

The hearings of the appeals of the Pakistan players will be on October 30, 2010 & on October 31, 2010. Mohammad Asif the fast bowler withdraws his appeal. Here are several points which are leading us towards a great end.

Points:

1) Why Mohammad Asif withdraws his appeal?

2) Why Salman Butt is trying to convince the media that he will join the International Cricket & he will be proved innocent?

3) Why Mohammad Aamer is silent?

4) Why Suresh Raina fixing news revealed now?

5) Why ICC is not taking any step against Raina?

All these points are leading to 1 successive theory that something is going on in between ICC, PCB & BCCI.

Answers to these question:

1) Because he was involved in it & PCB forced him to withdraw his appeal & later on again he will appeal. May be Scotland Yard find some strong evidence against him.

2) Because 70% chances are in his favor that he will be free.

3) PCB prohibited him because he is young & PCB don’t want him to say anything wrong in front of media.

4) Suresh was involved too in some sort of fixing but the news is revealed now because the leading body of ICC is from India, so they will have to be careful about Raina because of the 2011 World Cup.

5) ICC will not take any step against him because this will cost a huge loss for India & this will clear the Pakistani players.

Result: Salman Butt & Mohammad Aamer will be back in the international cricket after the hearing on October 30-31, 2010. Mohammad Asif will have to wait.

Note: I’m not representing anyone, this is just my view, anyone feel free to deny.

Abu Dhabi: South Africa won the series after beating Pakistan with six wickets in the 2nd T20I. Again Pakistani Batsmen proved dried leaves.

Toss: Pakistan won the toss & elected to bat.

Pakistan Innings:

Pakistan Cricket Team was unchanged & the same batsmen were sent to open the innings {Imran Farhat & Shahzaib Hassan}. Again Shahzaib failed to convince the crowd & went back to pavilion at the last ball of the 2nd over.

Mohammad Hafeez came in & tried to set the things, he was looking good but the luck was not in his favor. A sharp inside edge wrecked the bails. Pakistani management sent Misbah-ul-Haq at no. 4, which was indeed a good decision.

Misbah-ul-Haq was playing as a test & it was the need of the time. But on the other hand no one was supporting him. After Imran Farhat, no one tried to stand at that end. Everyone was trying to smash the ball.

Today, captain of Pakistan Cricket Team Shahid Afridi disappointed his fans & went back to pavilion after scoring just 3 runs of 3 balls.

Abdul Razzaq tried its best & scored 25 runs of 29 balls with 2 massive sixes. He was unlucky too & caught by the fielder.

Zulqarnain Haider who is a young talented wicket keeper succeeded in adding 17 precious runs of 17 balls with 1 four.

Misbah-ul-Haq was struggling & tried his best to boost up the score by adding 33 runs of 38 balls with the help of  2 fours & 1 six.

Last over was the best over for South Africa & for their bowler Rusty Theron. He took 3 wickets in that over for just 4 runs.

At last Pakistan managed to score 120/9 in 20.0 overs. This was a good recovery because 5 wickets were gone when Pakistan was on 39.

South Africa Innings:

Greame Smith & Loots Bosman were the openers from South Africa. Shoaib Akhtar was on the bowling track. Spectators were expecting the good performance of Shoaib Akhtar as he performed in the 1st T20I. But he failed to do so.

South Africa’s first wicket went down on the score of 39.AB de Villeres also helped Smith. But Smith was facing problems in playing against Afridi. Today, the Afridi’s bowling was very tight. South Africa’s batsmen were thinking about solving this problem.

A single over was not given to Pakistan’s All Rounder Abdul Razzaq by his captain because of his poor form. In the 16th-17th over, the game was completely in the hand of Pakistan. Pakistani spinners performed really good.

But Umar Gul & then Shoaib Akthar failed to maintain their line & length, Ingram smashed each & every single ball with Duminy.

Spectators in the Shiekh Zaid Cricket Stadium were in deep pain because Ex-World T20I Champion Pakistan was once again defeated by South Africa.

Abu Dhabi – Pakistan lost the 1st T20 against South Africa by 6 wickets. There are many questions which are searching perfect answers.

Points to be noted:

1 ) Why Imran Farhat sent as an opener, when M. Hafeez performed good as an opener.

2 ) Why Misbah-ul-Haq in the T20 squad, when Fawad was performing good!

3 ) Why Shahid Afridi was trying to hit every ball even he knew that there is no one after him except Razzaq?

4 ) What kind of shot M. Hafeez played against spinner & what he was expecting? (Even he knew there was a fielder).

5 ) Why Abdul Razzaq was trying to cut the ball instead of making singles or doubles?

6 ) Every batsman of Pakistan was trying to smash the ball out of the park instead of making singles or doubles. Why?

7 ) Why Younis Khan was not in the squad, when M. Yousuf was injured?

8 ) Why Afridi asked Abdul Razzaq to bowl in the last powerplay when Pakistan was in trouble? M. Hafeez was there.

9 ) Still Misfielding problems, why?

Can you please answer!!!

Abu Dhabi : South Africa won the first T20I of ‘Cool & Cool T20 Cup 2010’ against Pakistan by 6 wickets. Pakistan batting line-up again collapsed.

Toss: Pakistan won the toss & elected to bat.

Pakistan Innings:

Because of appendicitis operation, Kamran Akmal (The opener & wicket keeper) was not playing. Pakistani management went through a new experiment. Instead of sending Mohammad Hafeez as an opener, they sent Imran Farhat & Shahzaib Hassan.

Imran Farhat is in the team because his father-in-law is in PCB selection committee. Both openers disappointed Pakistan & Pakistan Cricket Team with their performance.

Only the sun of Afridi shone but for sometime. He scored 25 runs of just 7 balls with the help of 1 four & 3 sixes.

Misbah-ul-Haq (New Captain of Pakistan Test Team) was the only batsman who was struggling with dismal batting. He scored 27 runs of 32 balls with 2 fours & 1 six. He remained not-out.

In result, the complete team got out in 19.5 overs for just 119 runs. South Africa was pretty good in fielding. Brilliant catches & the quote is definitely true.

South Africa Innings:

Gream Smith & Loots Bosman were the openers & Shoaib Akhtar was on the bowling track. First two overs gone for 16 runs but in the third over, Shoaib Akhtar kicked two batsmen of South Africa out of the crease . (Bosman & AB de Villiers).

The game was in the favor of Pakistan at that time. The second over was expensive because of Abdul Razzaq’s bad bowling like a street boy.

Jean Paul Duminy played really good cricket in such moment. He scored 41 runs on 46 balls with the help of 5 fours. Colin Ingram also helped the team by adding 46 precious runs. He scored 46 runs on just 38 balls with 4 fours & 2 sixes.

In the last power play, Afridi failed to make the right decision & instead of giving over to Mohammad Hafeez, he gave it to Abdul Razzaq & the whole match from their went against them.

South Africa easily won the match in 18.2 overs with 6 wickets.

If we judge the captaincy of Shahid Khan Afridi, it was very good except some tricky points. In his batting & then in the bowling section about Abdul Razzaq’s bowling.

Lahore – Pakistan: The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced a new code of conduct for its players, based on International Cricket Council recommendations.

The PCB has developed the code under instruction from the ICC after indiscipline and allegations of corruption blighted the national team’s most recent tours of Australia and England.

Pakistan’s players have received a lecture on their responsibilities and are required to sign the code before leaving for their forthcoming series against South Africa in the United Arab Emirates.

“The new code of conduct is the first step towards fulfilling the ICC’s recommendations,” said Pakistan national team manager Intikhab Alam.

“There is a lot more stress on creating awareness among players about anti-corruption laws and regulations. We hope the new code will help us in dealing with the disciplinary and corruption problems.”

“The players were briefed about corruption in the game, doping and discipline and I hope they will be responsible enough to show good conduct during the tour and in home matches.”

“The board has made it clear in the new code that the manager will waste no time in stamping out indiscipline in the team. We don’t want a repeat of what happened in England.”

The new regulations involve a ban on speaking directly to the media, restrictions on the use of mobile phones and a ban on unauthorized persons entering the dressing rooms.

The ICC has also developed an eight-point anti-corruption program with the PCB after the recent scandals.

Former Pakistan captain Salman Butt and fast bowlers Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif remain provisionally suspended by the ICC and are under criminal investigation by London metropolitan police in relation to spot-fixing allegations.
