Abu Dhabi : South Africa won the first T20I of ‘Cool & Cool T20 Cup 2010’ against Pakistan by 6 wickets. Pakistan batting line-up again collapsed.

Toss: Pakistan won the toss & elected to bat.

Pakistan Innings:

Because of appendicitis operation, Kamran Akmal (The opener & wicket keeper) was not playing. Pakistani management went through a new experiment. Instead of sending Mohammad Hafeez as an opener, they sent Imran Farhat & Shahzaib Hassan.

Imran Farhat is in the team because his father-in-law is in PCB selection committee. Both openers disappointed Pakistan & Pakistan Cricket Team with their performance.

Only the sun of Afridi shone but for sometime. He scored 25 runs of just 7 balls with the help of 1 four & 3 sixes.

Misbah-ul-Haq (New Captain of Pakistan Test Team) was the only batsman who was struggling with dismal batting. He scored 27 runs of 32 balls with 2 fours & 1 six. He remained not-out.

In result, the complete team got out in 19.5 overs for just 119 runs. South Africa was pretty good in fielding. Brilliant catches & the quote is definitely true.

South Africa Innings:

Gream Smith & Loots Bosman were the openers & Shoaib Akhtar was on the bowling track. First two overs gone for 16 runs but in the third over, Shoaib Akhtar kicked two batsmen of South Africa out of the crease . (Bosman & AB de Villiers).

The game was in the favor of Pakistan at that time. The second over was expensive because of Abdul Razzaq’s bad bowling like a street boy.

Jean Paul Duminy played really good cricket in such moment. He scored 41 runs on 46 balls with the help of 5 fours. Colin Ingram also helped the team by adding 46 precious runs. He scored 46 runs on just 38 balls with 4 fours & 2 sixes.

In the last power play, Afridi failed to make the right decision & instead of giving over to Mohammad Hafeez, he gave it to Abdul Razzaq & the whole match from their went against them.

South Africa easily won the match in 18.2 overs with 6 wickets.

If we judge the captaincy of Shahid Khan Afridi, it was very good except some tricky points. In his batting & then in the bowling section about Abdul Razzaq’s bowling.
